The first week of July was a fun one!
MONDAY
What a busy day! Joshua had swimming in the morning and even had the teacher to himself. Personal training was great and helped Joshua really work on his strokes.
Harry is one of Joshua's friends from school and church and did they have a good time or what?! They had light saber duels, sword fights, talked about baseball, played basketball, went on the slip and slide and finished the day off with a couple of Wii games. It really was a fun play date and the laughs and giggles that filled the house were awesome.
It was really nice outside today, so we all spent some time enjoying it and Joshua got to play some basketball with his daddy.
TUESDAY
More swimming and Taekwondo practice today. The weather was yucky again, so no swimming after class, but we did get lots of errands done!
WEDNESDAY
Last day of swim class today. Joshua learned a lot and will be ready for the next class in a few weeks. Then we did some doodling and crafting. I love the shirt and it was so easy to make.
THURSDAY
Daniel was home today, so the guys spent a lot of time in the yard. I oopsed again and forgot to get pictures. We did some fireworks on our own later that night and then Joshua gave us a light saber show.
FRIDAY
Today we made chocolate chip cookies and again I oopsed! We were enjoying them too much to remember to take pictures. :0) We spent the rest of the day packing and then drove to Marion, IN later at night. Can't wait to see Grandma and Grandpa again! Joshua seems to enjoy this trip and here he is dancing to some tunes.
SATURDAY
It's garage sale day and Joshua is ready! He's got his chocolate chip cookies and Strawberry Orange Banana drink all set for the customers and he's excited to see how much he can make on his first "lemonade" stand. He ended up raking in $18 after selling most of the cookies and drink and a few of his old toys. Now... what to buy next?
Here's Joshua modeling his cool new tank top before it gets all grass stained after playing ball with daddy.
