Week 8 of Summer

We had a calmer week this week. Still lots of fun things going on, but a little more rest time too. We helped Grandma and Grandpa move over the weekend and Joshua kept saying he wasn't tired. The ride home told the truth, though. :0)

Joshua got a new Star Wars Lego on Monday and spent most of that day putting it together and playing with it.

Here's our young Jedi, practicing his light saber skills. He's watching himself in the reflection on the window. :0)

This is his last week of swimming for the summer. He's really progressed a lot.

On his last day of swimming we got to stay and have a picnic lunch and swim for a few more hours. It's always fun to get to swim with him.

Another fun play date with Daniel this week. The walkie talkies got lots of use. :0)

Joshua had a full week of Taekwondo. Graduation is coming up so he's getting lots of practice in.

Grandma came for a quick visit. So quick there was no time for photos! It was still nice to have her, though.

We visited Reeds Lake again, but our luck was not the same. No fish were biting this time, but Joshua got to try out all kinds of different lure and practice his casting. It was a beautiful day and it was fun going for a picnic too.
